¨      All teams must be registered with USFA.

¨      All balls are furnished.

¨      USFA rules apply

¨      Only one team cooler per team allowed NO OTHER COOLERS ALLOWED.  Parks & Recreation Rule

¨      All pool games will be 65 minutes and can end in a tie—tournament games will be 75 minutes or 7 innings—No inning will begin with less than 5 minutes remaining in game.

¨      All teams guaranteed 4 games; 2 pool & Double elimination unless the Friendly format is used. (Exception: inclement weather conditions)Refer to Rain policy

¨      All teams must have birth certificates & proof of insurance upon request—inability to produce will be grounds for forfeiture

¨      All entry fees are non-refundable

¨      Umpire decisions are official; if there is a dispute about a decision (other than balls & strikes or judgment calls) ask the umpire to consult with the tournament director.

¨      Coaches are responsible for the parents of their team.  If the team’s parents are committing unsportsmanlike conduct, the team’s manager will be: 1^st time - warned and 2^nd time - disqualified from the tournament.

¨      Run Rule in effect will be 10 after three innings or 8 after five innings.

¨      Double flip to determine home team

¨      Home team keeps the official book score. Visiting team responsible for scoreboard.

¨      Protest fee is $125.00 cash.—Protest committee will consist of 3 Tournament officials & 2 umpires. Protest fee will be returned if protest is upheld.

¨      Game time is 75 minutes or 7 innings whichever comes first. International tiebreaker rule applies after 7 innings.(Pool games excluded)

¨      Please clean your dugout after each game

Tournament Seeding

Brackets will be determined by pool games.

Seeding will be determined by:   1^st Win/Loss

                                                     2^nd Runs allowed

                                                     3^rd Runs scored

                                                     4^th Coin toss

Rain policy:

In the event of a rain-shortened weekend, first we will eliminate pool games then if needed go to a single elimination tournament, if pool games have been played then those games will count as tournament games if needed. If we are unable to finish all rounds, then win-loss records including pool play, runs allowed, head to head, etc. will determine tournament champions. If all other means have been used a coin toss will determine winners.
